Be Determined to Amend --- Draft 2
Joe used to be a bovver boy. He joined a ring. And he was sent
to prison because of a bank robbery several years ago.
His sister, Sue, went to the prison to visit him one day.
Sue picked up the transmitter and said,“I will tell you a bad news.
You should try to be calm.”
Joe asked her tensely,“Bad news? What?”
Sue cried and continued,“Father passed away by his heart
disease. He called your name until he expired. His last wish
is to look you to be affranchised.”
Joe was greatly taken aback by this big bad news and he sat
there without saying a word. Then, he started to weep.
And his sister said,“You must be determined to amend and to
be discharged from prison, or you will not to treat father fairly!”
Joe answered seriously,“I will. I promise I will release on parole
soon.”
After few months later, Joe was just as expected to parole. And he
went to his father's grave, kowtowing to him.

And his sister said,“You must be determined to amend and to be discharged from prison, or you will really disappoint Father!” Joe answered seriously,“I will. I promise I will release on parole soon.” A few months later, Joe was just as expected to parole. And he went to his father's grave, kowtowing to him.
